Luxor Valley of The KIngs - €70

Step back in time and discover the magic of Ancient Egypt on a full-day journey to Luxor, once known as the ancient city of Thebes and one of Egypt’s most extraordinary historical treasures. You’ll be picked up from your hotel around 4:30 am (depending on location) and travel approximately four hours through scenic landscapes to Upper Egypt.

Your adventure begins at the Valley of the Kings, the legendary burial site of 62 pharaohs. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the iconic Tomb of Tutankhamun (optional, at an extra cost). The tour then continues to a traditional alabaster workshop, where skilled local craftsmen demonstrate how elegant statues and vessels are carved from this delicate stone.

Next, explore the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dramatically set against the cliffs of Deir El Bahari and dedicated to the sun god Amun. Nearby, you’ll stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon—two colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have guarded the area for more than 3,000 years.

Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant before choosing to relax on an optional motorboat ride to Banana Island, a tranquil oasis filled with lush greenery where you can sample fresh fruit and traditional Egyptian tea.

The day concludes with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in the world. Walk through its immense halls, towering columns, and open courtyards, with free time to explore and take photos.

This excursion runs on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, subject to availability. Return to Hurghada is around 9:30 pm. Optional activities are available at your discretion and are not included in the base price.
