Discover the Wonders of Cairo: A Journey Through History and Culture

Experience Cairo in comfort as you travel through the vast desert landscapes of Egypt in a modern air-conditioned coach, heading toward one of the most fascinating cities in the world. This full-day adventure offers the perfect combination of history, culture, and unforgettable sights.

Your journey begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup in Hurghada, followed by a scenic drive across the desert toward Cairo. Along the way, enjoy views of Egypt’s dramatic landscapes before arriving in the bustling capital.

Our first stop is the National Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, widely known as the Egyptian Museum. Founded in 1825 by decree of Mohamed Ali Pasha, this world-famous museum houses over 100,000 ancient artefacts displayed across two floors. Inside, you will discover incredible treasures from ancient Egyptian civilization, including the iconic Golden Mask of Tutankhamun, one of the most remarkable archaeological discoveries in history.

For those interested in exploring further, there is an optional visit to the Mummy Room inside the museum (extra charge), where you can see preserved royal mummies and learn more about ancient Egyptian burial traditions.

After the museum visit, you will have the optional opportunity to take a motorboat ride on the River Nile. This relaxing cruise offers beautiful views of Cairo from the water and fantastic photo opportunities. Participation in this activity is entirely optional.

Next, enjoy a delicious open buffet lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Nile, where you can relax and recharge before continuing the tour. Soft drinks are not included.

After lunch, we visit a Papyrus Institute, where you will watch a fascinating demonstration of how papyrus paper was produced in ancient Egypt and used for writing. You will also have some free time to browse and shop for authentic souvenirs.

The journey continues to one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world — the Giza Necropolis, dating back more than 5,000 years. Here you will discover the legendary Great Pyramids of Giza and the majestic Great Sphinx.

The Giza Plateau contains three main pyramids built during the 4th Dynasty as royal tombs for Egyptian kings and queens. The most impressive of them is the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and best-preserved pyramid in Egypt. For over 4,300 years, it remained the tallest man-made structure on Earth. Visitors may also choose to enter the pyramid for an additional fee.

You will then visit the Great Sphinx, an extraordinary limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human, standing as a timeless guardian of the pyramids.

Before leaving Cairo, we make a final stop at a perfume shop, where you can discover traditional pure, alcohol-free fragrance oils known for their rich and long-lasting scents. Guests are welcome to browse or purchase if they wish.

After a day filled with ancient wonders, culture, and unforgettable sights, we begin the return journey back to Hurghada, arriving at your hotel in the evening.
