Travel by private bus from Hurghada to Luxor on a scenic journey of approximately four hours, exploring the mysteries of ancient Thebes. Once a powerful city on the east bank of the Nile, Thebes’ incredible ruins are found today in the modern city of Luxor.

Your tour begins on the West Bank of the Nile with a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings. Accompanied by your private guide, step back thousands of years as you explore this royal burial ground, where rock-cut tombs were created for pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. The valley contains more than 60 tombs dating from the 16th to the 11th century BC.

Next, visit a traditional alabaster workshop to learn how this beautiful, translucent stone was used by the ancient Egyptians for household items, ritual objects, and funerary purposes.

Continue to the iconic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most distinctive monuments. Built from limestone and set against the cliffs of Deir El Bahari, the temple features three impressive terraces and was constructed to honor Queen Hatshepsut and the god Amun-Ra.

Afterward, stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon—two massive quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III standing nearly 20 meters high and facing the Nile.

Cross to the East Bank of the Nile to enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the river.
